GABRIELA REINTHALLER
I've been passionate about fitness for a long time, and through working with exceptional individuals, I've learned that fitness is not just about achieving a physical goal, but rather, it's a lifestyle. It's not solely about attaining a dream body; it's about teaching our bodies what's best for them, allowing them to thrive healthily and ensuring that as we age, we remain fit, mobile, independent, and healthy. It's about understanding how our bodies and muscles work, learning to use them properly, all while enjoying what we do. Physical results naturally follow as a reward for the care we give to our bodies.
My passion of fitness began in 2014, and year after year, I've been fortunate to immerse myself in various approaches to achieving optimal physical well-being.
From the fundamental importance of cardio to enhance performance, to the transformative power of weight training for building muscle mass and safeguarding overall bodily integrity, my fitness philosophy embraces a diverse range of disciplines.
However, it is the emphasis on functional training that truly defines my approach. Prioritizing the mastery of proper body mechanics before adding unnecessary weight, functional training teaches us to move efficiently and effectively, laying a solid foundation for long-term strength and resilience.
Let's not overlook the significance of stretching, a cornerstone in maintaining healthy ligaments and tendons, fostering flexibility, promoting proper posture, and mitigating the risk of injury.
Of course, throughout my journey, I quickly learned that the cornerstone of it all lies in nutrition – the very essence of our bodies and our health. No matter how many hours we spend at the gym, without proper nutrition, we'll never achieve a truly healthy body or reach our goals.
Starting with the exploration of sports nutrition, I initially overloaded my body with proteins, supplements, and ultimately found myself lacking in natural sustenance. Along the way, I realized that this wasn't what I wanted. I didn't just desire results; I craved a genuinely healthy body.
I soon delved into the realm of natural nutrition, prioritizing a holistic balance among all types of foods, without depriving myself of the occasional indulgence. To maintain a sound mind in a sound body and sustain results throughout our lives, all we need is to understand what our bodies truly require, steering clear of overloading them with excessive proteins and processed foods.
It's about embracing a lifestyle that resonates with us, one that brings joy and fulfillment rather than subjecting ourselves to a frustrating and ultimately futile diet.

"The body must have rigor to obey the soul...
The weaker the body, the more it commands,
the stronger it is, the more it obeys."
